ABOUT ME

G’day, I’m Kia! I shan’t tell you my age but I’m pretty sure my quarter-life crisis can’t be far off now. As a child I wanted to be a backing dancer for Usher, a magazine journo or a marine biologist. But I’m horribly afraid of the ocean, magazine journalist jobs seem to be far and few between these days... and I won’t tell you how hard it is to get Usher on the phone…!

 

 I’ve worked in fashion, music and PR over the last 5 years, all of which I’ve absolutely loved, but in January 2018 I decided it was time for a change of scenery so uprooted my life and moved from London to Sydney. Writing is something I’ve always really loved and meeting so many new people on my travels seems to have given me heaps of food for thought and 1001 topics to get stuck into. That’s not all I do though… I’ve got lots of creative energy that I wanted an outlet for but I’ll let you discover that for yourself as you poke around– welcome to my corner of the internet.
